We’re not here to toot our horns because ego isn’t our thing, but it’s nice to know we’re making people happy.

We carefully roast seriously decadent coffee beans in our roastery in Blackwood, Victoria. Ordering online is easy and friendly service is our jam.

The planet is important to us so we chose the beans ourselves, searching for family growers using sustainable, eco-friendly growing methods. Our speciality is small-batch roasting, using fluid-bed air-roasting technology, guaranteeing consistent blends where every bean reaches its full potential. Our coffee is always smooth and delicious and never, ever bitter.

We started Martin Street Coffee Roasters because we were over the shabby service and silly prices at the “trendy end of coffee town.”

Great coffee is about the ritual, the sighs of pleasure and the banter. After travelling the world spending most of our time sitting in wonderful coffee bars enjoying the company of the staff and feeling like family, we thought it was time to bring it home to Melbourne.

As part of the stunning Blackwood community where the air is clean and the water clear, we minimise our environmental impact and offer another reason for people to visit this stunning part of Victoria. Aside from our reputation as bloody great coffee roasters, we’ve worked hard to earn our reputation for friendly service and commitment to quality.

We use handmade fluid-air technology that draws clean Blackwood air to roast our beans, using 20% less energy than traditional roasting methods. And instead of sending harmful vapours into the air, our smoke extraction technology reduces smoke production by 90%, and we send a gorgeous freshly-brewed coffee aroma into the community instead.

And the waste? Straight on to the garden to feed the veggies.
